However, on very busy nights and when we are holding a Themed Evening we may be
offering our party menu, all of which is taken from the main menu and simply entails a
selection of our starters being available on our buffet and followed by a main course
of your choice, which is served to the table as well as a dessert selection. Our party
menus are priced at between £24-28p.p depending on the cost of the entertainment.
The Silk Road Menus change constantly. There is always something new and
interesting on the market and, of course, it is fun to try and adapt different items
into our theme.
Fairly new on the Menu and already surprisingly popular is the Fruity Chicken Curry
with home-made Indian Apple Chutney and the Pomegranate Lamb is everyone's
favourite with a delicious sauce of caramelised onions, pomegranate juice, Sherry,
honey and mushrooms.
It is also worth noting that as our dishes are mostly cooked to order, customers with
wheat allergies or dairy intolerances, for example, can nearly always be catered for
as those ingredients can often be left out of the cooking and replaced with
something else. This can be tricky on a busy Saturday night, but with a little notice
given to the Chef, it will usually be possible to adapt a dish to satisfaction.
