STARTERS AND MEZES
(all served with a basket of warm Turkish bread)
Three Cold Meze - Chef’s selection of three different cold mezes
Melon Feta - Sweet melon with salty feta cheese is topped with a
swirl of flower honey
Patatas Salatasi - Turkish potato salad, combining spring onions,
parsley and mayonnaise
Dolma - Vegetarian stuffed vine leaves served with plain yoghurt and olive oil
Falafel - Deep fried vegetarian ‘meatballs’- creamed chickpeas, broad beans,
mixed peppers, breadcrumbs, herbs & spices - dipped in sesame seeds
& served with a yoghurt dip
Cheese Borek - Deep fried triangles of filo pastry, filled with feta &
cheddar cheese, spinach & parsley
Drunken Calamari - Rings of calamari marinated in beer, black pepper and pepper
puree fried in a light batter and garnished with a lemon dressed green salad


MAIN COURSE SELECTION
Kofte Kebab - Finely minced lamb, onion & mixed peppers together with subtle
seasoning, pepper puree and flat-leaf parsley is chargrilled and served with
silk route vegetables, Basmati rice & yoghurt dip
Meatball Pasta - Juicy lamb meatballs cooked in a rich tomato sauce & served on
pasta of the day, with baby tomatoes and grated cheddar cheese
Chicken Shish Kebab - Chunks of chicken breast, marinated in a tenderizing
flavoured mixture of Vodka, vegetable oil, garlic, oregano, sweet pepper paste &
paprika is served with silk route vegetables, Basmati rice & yoghurt dip
Chicken Iskender - Strips of chicken breast, marinated as above, chargrilled
and served on rice with a rich tomato sauce, Turkish yoghurt &
Paprika butter with a sprinkling of dill
Sigara Boreygi - Finger shaped filo pastry is filled with spinach, onions, rice,
tomatoes, green peppers and feta cheese then fried with a little seven spice.  
Served with Basmati rice, herb salad and a yoghurt dip
Halloumi Kebab - A grilled skewer of halloumi cheese and one of mushrooms and
tomatoes, served on Basmati rice and garnished with mouth-watering
home-made sweet tomato jam
Pink Pasta - Baby prawns & salmon fillet, cooked with cream, black pepper,
onions & a little tomato with dill
Scampi - Deep fried scampi is served with chunky chips and tartare sauce


DESSERTS
Baklava - Filo pastry layered with crushed pistachio nuts, butter and honey is
served with ice cream
Chocolate Souffle - Served with cream and chocolate sauce

This is an example of one of our Party Menus.  All Demi-Buffet Menu operate in the same way, although
dishes may change.  Party Menus are used on theme nights and when large groups are booked.  
Prices per person may vary according to dishes and entertainment organised.

KUZU TANDIR
- Shoulder of baby lamb, slow cooked in its own juice
with garlic, rosemary, onions, chopped tomatoes & seven spice
served with Basmati rice.
POMEGRANATE LAMB - Lamb chops chargrilled with oregano &
presented in a gravy of pomegranate juice, sherry, balsamic vinegar,
mushrooms, shallots & flower honey with baby potatoes.
MEATBALL PASTA - Juicy lamb meatballs served on pasta with a
rich tomato sauce and grated cheddar cheese.
CHICKEN ISKENDER - Sliced breast of chicken, arranged on
Basmati rice with a rich tomato sauce, yoghurt top and paprika butter.
 Sprinkled with dill.
CHICKEN KIEV - Breaded breast of chicken filled with butter, parsley
and garlic served with sliced tomatoes and chipped potatoes.
SAMARRA CHICKEN - Sliced marinated chicken on rice, topped with
a delicious sauce of mushrooms, cream, black pepper, coriander and
brandy then finished with a swirl of flower honey.
SIGARA BOREYGI - Finger shaped filo pastry parcels, filled with
spinach, carrots, onions, rice, tomatoes, green peppers and feta
cheese with a pinch of seven spice.  Served on a bed of Basmati Rice
and topped with Herb Salad and spinach yoghurt.  
MUSHROOM ESLIM - Mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, mixed
peppers, pepper puree and rice wrapped in sliced aubergines, served
with Basmati rice and garnish.
SALMON KEBAB - Marinated in sweet sherry, garlic, ginger, fresh
lime, Soy sauce and honey then grilled and served with stir-fry
vegetables and Basmati Rice.  
MEDITERRANEAN SARDINES - Large juicy sardines, descaled and
trimmed then chargrilled with butter, parsley, lemon juice and served
with baby potatoes and mixed salad.
SALMON FILLET - Lightly steamed, sprinkled with dill and served
with rice, mixed salad and lemon wedges.
